Fiona French

Fiona French – Course Leader

Fiona French has been course leader for BSc Computer Games at London Metropolitan University for the past 3 years. She is an Associate Director of Gamelab London, the university’s Games Research and Development Centre, and a member of LTRI, the Learning Technology Research institute . Her research interests include location-based gaming, physical computing, inclusive games and serious games.


In January 2009, she organised the London event of the first Global Game Jam, where participants from 27 countries round the world worked simultaneously in teams for 48 hours to develop prototype videogames. She has been involved with various events for London Games Festival, including a Grl Gmr Tournament (2008) and a mobile treasure hunt (2007).
