Radio 1 Academy logo Hot on the heels of Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend, top names from music, journalism and TV, share their tips for career success.

In the lead up to its Hackney Weekend and the Olympics, the Radio 1 and 1Xtra Academy opened its doors to celebrate young people and the area of East London.

Featuring masterclasses, Q&As, and workshops, the Academy focused on careers in fashion, film and acting, radio, music, gaming and programming, comedy, business, and journalism.
