Lola will make up a large part of the LMP grid at this years 78th running of the Le Mans 24 Hours race, it was announced today. A total of nine designs will challenge for honours in June.
For what is arguably the world’s greatest race, Lola will have seven entries in the LMP1 class and two in the LMP2 class. This beats the previous record of eight combined entries in 2008 and once again makes Lola the most represented constructor on the grid. A total of five different engine units will power the Lola entries this year.
