Somewhere to show off

Are you aged between 16-25? Do you have a talent you’d like to show off? Enter the somewhereto_ competition and win the chance to perform to thousands.

From free running to flower arranging, show off your talent in a 60 second video and win the chance to perform at a major London location and fly to Brazil to star in a short film.

Olympic and Paralympic legacy project somewhereto_ has teamed up with BAFTA-winner Adam Deacon to launch somewhereto_ show off, a project dedicated to showcasing the talents of young people across the UK.

20 finalists will be selected to perform to a panel of judges including Adam Deacon, at a secret London location and of those, 10 winners will go on to perform to thousands at a high-profile London venue.  One final act will have the incredible opportunity to feature in their own film which will be directed by Adam Deacon in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, home of the 2016 Games.

“I’m a massive believer in giving young people the chance to show off what they can do because there’s so much undiscovered talent out there,” explains Adam Deacon, “ I’m really excited to be part of a competition that will be showcasing talented young people throughout the summer.”

To enter, just submit your 60 second video by 11 July.  Find out more at:

If you’re unable to film your own entry, the somewhereto_ team will be in Belfast on 4 July and Cardiff on 10 July where you can ‘show up and show off’ and let the team film for you.

somewhere to_ is an organisation which helps young people find free spaces to do the things they love, bringing life into underused and empty spaces and getting everyone thinking creatively about their communities.
