Logistics and transport

Transport and logistics covers a wide variety of areas including freight transport, waterways and ports, supply chain management, transport and town planning management and warehousing.There are options within this sector for people with no GCSEs to people with a university degree. An Apprenticeship through Skills for Logistics may be a good starting point, leading to an NVQ at Level 2. Further NVQs are available in Transport Management and Logistics leading to Certificate or Diploma level. Transport, Logistics and Supply Chain Management can also be studied at Degree Level with many UK universities offering this course.
