icould webchat- Wednesday 28th October 2009-3pm
At 3pm today we are hosting a webchat to hear your feedback about the new site.
Please leave your comments below and Henry and Emily, from icould, will be on hand to answer any questions you have and hear your feedback.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.

I would like the button at the top of the page to search for stories to be a text box like other websites instead of a weird search thing. does anyone agree?
Hi Michael thank you for this feedback, this is something for us to look into to help enhance the search function even more
I agree, it may help for it to be similar to other sites so you can type what you want!
Does anyone have a favourite video story so far?
I like Davina McCall’s video, are there any other celebrities?
Hi Michael! I like Davina’s story too – but then I am a massive fan of hers! I’ve seen Trevor Nelsons story too – i think there are lots of celebrities on here!!
I find the msn website interesting because the way it shows the latest news on the front page
But then shouldn’t it say something inside the speech bubble ??
Hi there! Just wanted to let you know I’m really impressed with your new site! It looks great, well done guys
Thank you Nadine, what do you like best about the site?
I like the way you don’t hav 2 search for a specific job or subject eg you can put in ‘gap year’ and find videos of people who have done it and what they did afterwards
Guys – if you post a question, and people reply to it directly you will only see their replies if you look back to your original comment (whatever page it was on). Cheers!
although i am impress with the site and what they are trying to do, personality i am quite irritated with all this website nowdays that are geared towards telling you how to get a job, but do not help or show you the jobs.
So are you saying that what you really want is a one-stop-shop with everything about careers?
Glorious i know what you mean but I guess this website is more inspiring about career options and journeys rather than the specific job itself.
i think this website is very good and it helps me undersdand the different types of jobs that are out there and how people got into those jobs!
As a website, what do you aim to do for young people?

As a website, what do you aim to do for young people?
Hi Ceejclaud, good question! The About section goes into more depth, but i guess icould’s all about inspiration. Inspiration on almost any career related topic. We’ve worked really hard to cover lots of ocupations, dreams and dilemmas to offer fresh perspective on ll the sorts of things young people get ‘stuck’ on. With the links, tools and confidence to act on that inspiration. icould is quite different, so may take a while to get used to at first, but have a play and keep your feedback coming!!
A
is anyone still chatting?
Amy i think i replied to one of your earlier comments, if you back a page you might see it!
Yes we are still chatting! How are you finding this commenting function?
annoying chat function. just found your reply to one of my earlier comments but its not great having to go back two pages
The colours and the way the website is layed out makes it look boring
it kind of busy like
Hi 2swest – do you have an example of a website is layed out in a way you find interesting?
