icould is constantly looking at ways to improve and as a result we’ve created this new teachers section. We’ve launched icould.com/teachers with some great classroom resources as well as ten quick ideas to get you and your students started.
Due to popular demand from teachers and careers professionals, education consultant, Christine Thomas, has created this series of classroom resources for icould.com.
“I had been asked by quite a few schools if I had any classroom materials to support the use of icould – ie stuff teachers could use to get students actively using the website. I decided to create a couple of ideas and have now worked with icould to produce a series of activities that can be easily downloaded and used in the classroom. They’re all quick, modern and fun activities to get students thinking about their futures.
“I have been a fan of icould since the start and can’t believe what it’s achieved in such a short space of time – the site is looking better than ever. I am a trainer and consultant in careers education and I recommend the site to all the teachers and careers advisers I meet and they love it. I am also a member of the ACEG (Association for Careers Education and Guidance) council and I’m thrilled that they’ve endorsed these learning materials.”
A great place to start might be our ten quick ideas. There are teacher/adviser notes and student worksheets for all the activities. Take a look through all of the resources and let us know which resources you like best.
