As part of a series looking at careers connected with Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, we take a look at The White Building.
The White Building is London’s centre for art, technology and sustainability, acting as a beacon for local creative industries and providing a creative resource for the wider community.
The centre runs schools programmes to inspire students across subjects, and a residency scheme offering opportunities for artists to produce and showcase new work.
The building houses a temporary exhibition venue, a flexible event space, CRATE Brewery & Pizzeria and five studios, with tenants including The Yard Theatre, public space specialists Public Works, and sculptor Lawrence Lek.
It is run by SPACE, a visual arts organisation that provides affordable workspace, artist support and learning projects.

The White Building is located to the west of the park and is supported by the London Legacy Development Corporation, the organisation responsible for the park.
