Aims of icould Youthboard

The Youth Board is made up of a group of 14-25 year olds who help us make decisions about icould.  They also help promote icould and act as ambassadors for us, attending press launches and other events.

 natalie campbell[1]Natalie Campbell, Chair

Natalie is currently project managing the development of an online space aimed at young entrepreneurs for Virgin Media and Enterprise UK. She previously worked for the Make Your Mark Campaign and has also run her own retail franchise.  

After leaving Make Your Mark in 2008, Natalie spent the latter part of the year working as a freelance consultant for the Aldridge Foundation before being awarded a scholarship from Channel 4 to study a postgraduate qualification in Current Affairs Journalism. During her time with Channel 4 News she developed online news reports and produced short features across business and politics in both London and Washington D.C. Natalie is also an Assistant Producer for Capital Radio, working on the award winning Nick Ferrari Show and specialist business and current affairs programmes.

ArifArif Rampuri

Arif Rampuri left school at 16 after completing his G.C.S.E’s to forge a career in sales. Now 19, Arif was named the Young Sales Professional of the Year at the 2008 British Excellence in Sales and Marketing Awards after his work brought in clients which generated more than a quarter of a million pounds in recruitment fees.He has proven to be a highly driven charismatic individual and is a future CEO in the making.

Laura_HoangLaura Hoang

Laura has recently taken a year out of academia to gain work experience before starting a degree in Aeronautical Systems Engineering.

She is passionate about encouraging young people in to STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). As a year-in-industry ambassador she regularly visited schools and colleges to attend careers events to talk to young people about the year-in-industry scheme.

“My determination to prove not only to my family, but to myself that I can succeed drives me to encourage others to do so too.”

GerardGérard Jones

Gérard is Director of Gérard School of Football Ltd, the only Specialist Football Development Centre in Britain which he setup in early 2009 whilst studying for a degree in sports coaching and performance at the University of Hull.One of the missions of the school is ‘to revolutionise youth development and provide all children the chance to fulfil their potential and make their dreams become a reality’.

Gérard is also an ambassador for Enterprise UK and is one of Yorkshire’s top young entrepreneurs.

George Saggers

George has always taken a huge interest in anything relating to business and career opportunities. He was involved with the icould pilot project and feels like he gained a great deal from the experience.

He started up his own business when he was 14. He invented the EuroCoin Holder which aimed to ‘put an end to rummaging around through unfamiliar change.’ George feels that he has gained a lot of practical business skills over the past couple of years.

“I feel I would bring ideas and enthusiasm to the icould team.”

shadowMillie Ross

Millie has an interest in performing arts and is involved in a wide range of extracurricular activities. She is a young leader at guides and editor of her school magazine amongst many other things.

She is interested in politics and uses her debating skills in competitions regularly.

“I am not afraid to voice my opinions, and will be completely honest, whilst still considering other people’s opinions and taking them on board.”
